At SmartMinds Tech, we respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Valura, our Google Sheets add-on and companion extension, handles information when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect

Valura operates inside your Google account and may access limited information only as necessary:

  • Google Sheets data:
    Valura reads your sheet headers and rows to prepare personalized WhatsApp messages. We do not store your Sheets data outside your account.
  • User API Key:
    To connect with the Valura backend, users enter an API key. This key is stored securely in your Google Account User Properties and is never shared with other users.
  • Backend communication:
    Message jobs (phone number, message text, row reference) are sent securely to the Valura backend API to process message delivery.
  • History data:
    Valura keeps a local history of sent/queued jobs in your Script Properties. This history remains private to your account.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information only to:

  • Queue and send your WhatsApp messages as instructed.
  • Track the status of your jobs (queued, sent, failed).
  • Provide personalization features (e.g., replacing |Name| with values from your sheet).

We do not sell, rent, or monetize your data.

3. Data Storage & Security

  • API keys and settings are stored in Google Apps Script Properties (scoped to your account).
  • No spreadsheet contents are permanently stored on our servers.
  • Communication with the backend uses HTTPS with API key authentication.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not share your personal data with third parties.
Your data is only exchanged between:

  • Google Sheets (on your account)
  • Valura backend API (to execute your send jobs)

5. Your Choices

  • You may delete your stored API key at any time from Valura’s settings.
  • You may clear history and queues directly in the add-on.
  • You may uninstall the add-on and/or extension at any time via Google Sheets or the Chrome Web Store.
